2. Processing of personal data
Personal data is processed in various ways. Depending on the type of data, this data can be consulted by us or by third parties (see point 3).
We use data minimization and try to minimize the retention period of data.
2.1 General website visit
Data about visiting the website is collected and processed anonymously to improve the website. This data includes technical data of the browser, duration of the visit and pages visited.
If one contacts us by email or joins our purpose, the data will be saved on the server as well as in the mailbox. The retention period for communication is to be consulted under 2.2.
2.2 General communication
General data of communication like emails are saved for 5 years to enable a smooth communication.
2.3 Members
We collect data from members during subscription. We only keep personal data necessary for communication and categorisation of our members. We treat these data strictly confidential and store them for 5 years.
The provided data of the potential participants will be kept in a secured environment for the duration of the contract + 2 years after the last communication in order to be able to provide a good after-sales service. Only members of the research group involved in these research projects have access to this information.
3. Third parties
Data is collected anonymously about websites visits using Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytical tool. They track website usage without collecting any personal data or personally identifiable information, without using cookies and while respecting the privacy of the website visitors. You can read their data policy here.
Members’ email addresses and names used to send them appropriate information about events via Mailpoet. These data are used for email communication only.
We use Postmark (email address and name) to send emails and make sure they arrive in your inbox.

Everyone has certain rights about her or his personal data, among which:

5. Cookies and cookie policy
As a visitor, data is collected and processed anonymously to improve the website. Retargeting is not used. The data collected includes technical data of the browser, duration of visit and pages visited.
If this implicit data collection and/or processing is not desired, a browser ad blocker plugin can be used. Cookies can be blocked at browser level. This can be set in each browser via the general settings.
